Description
Your driver/guide will pick you up at arranged location in Ljubljana or Split, take care of your baggage and suggest optional comfort stops along the way and possible lunch breaks.
Depending on the weather forecast, he may advise you to prepare appropriate clothes and footwear. Your preferences and wishes will also be considered.
Upon arrival to the Plitvice Lakes National Park, you will be able to freshen up as your driver/guide takes care of the formalities and gets acquainted with the circumstances in the park in order to choose an optimal route.
Your guided private tour of the park begins with the discovery of the Upper Lakes, accessible either by a panoramic train or an electric boat. The raised boardwalks will allow you to establish an intimate contact with nature, getting incredibly close to the waterfalls. Depending on your stamina, you may also be able to access
viewpoints, offering spectacular vistas.
The smooth boat ride will provide you with a chance to rest a bit before continuing the visit in the canyon of the Lower Lakes, surreal sequence of turquoise lakes joined by beautiful waterfalls.
Finally, the so-called Big Waterfall will be one of the highlights of the tour, being the tallest and the most photographed portion of the National Park. The journey to your drop-off location will be made more pleasant by more comfort stops,

The tour of the Plitvice Lakes National Park may require average fitness levels and ability to walk up and down the stairs. Usually, a common visit consists of making 10.000 steps minimum. Hence, if your fitness app never congratulated you for meeting that goal, we encourage you to consider adjusting the route, and opting for an easier one.
Feel free to suggest it to our travel agent or to your guide/driver directly. Weather in the national park can sometimes be unpredictable. Allow your tour guide/driver to suggest appropriate clothing or shoes and an umbrella or a raincoat.
